FSN - Privacy Policy

FSN (Fishing Suite) is a Windows desktop utility that automates gameplay actions on the user's own PC. This policy covers the FSN desktop app and the FSN license website (fsn-license.pages.dev).

1. Data stored on your PC only

• Your settings, screen regions you select, session history and presets are stored locally in %APPDATA%\FSN\state.json.
• FSN captures selected areas of your screen and reads them on your PC (screen capture and Windows OCR) to run the automation. These images are processed locally and are not uploaded anywhere.
• If you enter a Discord webhook URL, it stays on your PC and is only used to send notifications you enabled.

2. Data sent to our server (desktop app)

To provide accounts and licenses, FSN communicates with our API (hosted on Cloudflare Workers, with a Firebase / Google Cloud Firestore database). The following data is processed:

• Account data: username, email address, and your password (handled by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store your password in readable form).
• Login verification: a one-time 6-digit code is sent to your email through our email provider (Resend). Only a hashed form of the code is stored, and it expires after 10 minutes.
• License data: your license plan, expiry time, ban status, and an anonymous session ID used to allow one active session per account.
• Device identifier: an anonymous hash derived from your Windows machine identifier (a SHA-256 hash; the original value is never sent). It is used to enforce license rules such as one free license per device.
• Network information: your IP address may be processed to apply license limits and prevent abuse.
• Shared presets (optional): if you choose to share a preset, its settings data and your username are stored so others can load it by ID. You can delete it at any time from the app.

3. License website

• When you claim a free license on the website, we process the FSN username you type, your device identifier hash, and your IP address to apply the "one free license per account, device and network" rule.
• The website shows a list of active free licenses with masked usernames and the time left.
• The website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a visitor is human. Turnstile may process browser and device signals according to Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• The website displays advertisements from third-party ad networks. These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. They operate under their own privacy policies, and we do not share your FSN account data with them.

4. How we use data

Only to run accounts, verify logins, manage licenses, prevent abuse and sharing of one account across several devices, keep the free tier funded through ads, and provide support. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Third-party services

• Google Firebase (authentication and database)
• Cloudflare (API hosting, website hosting, Turnstile)
• Resend (email delivery of login codes)
• Third-party ad networks (website advertising)
• GitHub (hosting of the app download)
• Roblox public servers API (used by the Server tab to list public game servers)
• Discord (only if you configure a webhook, and for support)

These services have their own privacy policies.

6. Data retention and deletion

Account and license data is kept while your account exists. To request deletion of your account and related data, contact us at the email below. Local data can be removed by deleting the %APPDATA%\FSN folder.

7. Security

Communication with our API uses HTTPS. Login codes are stored hashed and expire quickly. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

8. Children

FSN is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
